The embassy attests documents previously signed and sealed by the Department of Consular Services of Nepal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain or the Embassy of Malta in Madrid.

Requirements

  • Original document in Nepali or English (If the document is in Nepali, its English translation duly sealed and signed by the concerned Government authorities). The translated document must be attested by the Department of Consular Services, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu,
  • Application to the Embassy specifying requirement of such document,
  • Copy of passport and citizenship of the Applicant,
  • Copy of recent visa of the Applicant,
  • If it is the case of academic certificate verification, the applicant should get the certificate verified by the competent authority of Nepal (eg SLC, HSEB, Ministry of Education, etc), then attested by the Department of Consular Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kathmandu prior to its verification by the Embassy of Nepal.

Documents such as Academic Certificate, Citizenship Certificates, Birth or Death Certificates, Marriage Certificate, Relationship Certificate, Citizenship, Driving license, Marital Status etc.

Document such as issued by Banking/Financial organizations, Migration Certificate, Police Clearance Certificate, Physician or Doctoral/Doctorate Certificate, Affidavit etc. Fees: € 100

ESP

La Embajada certifica documentos previamente firmados y sellados por el Departamento de Servicios Consulares de Nepal, el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de España o la Embajada de Malta en Madrid.

Requisitos

  • Documento original en inglés o nepali (si el documento está en nepalí, la traducción al inglés debe tener el sello de traducción y la firma de la autoridad gubernamental pertinente). El documento traducido debe ser certificado por el Departamento de Servicios Consulares de Katmandú.
  • La aplicación a la Embajada especificando los requisitos de dicho documento.
  • Copia del pasaporte y ciudadanía del aplicante.
  • Copia del visado más reciente del aplicante.
  • En caso de que se trate de una verificación de un certificado académico, se recomienda al aplicante que su certificado sea verificado por la autoridad competente nepali (SLC, HSEB, Ministerio de Educación, etc) y luego sea certificado por el Departamento de Servicios Consulares antes de su verificación por la Embajada de Nepal.

Tasas y detalles de pago​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Para documentos como certificados acedémicos, de ciudadanía, nacimiento, fallecimiento, matrimonio, relación, así como licencia de conducción y estatus marital, la tasa a pagar es de 50 euros. Para documentos emitidos por organizaciónes financieras como bancos, certificados de migración, certificados de antecedentes penales, certificados médicos y declaraciones juramentadas tienen un costo de 100 euros.
