Highlights of Her Excellency Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal’s Engagements and Activities from October 2023 to November 2023

 Her Excellency Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal participated in various programs, interactions, and engagements, and some of the major activities are as mentioned below:

  1. On 12 NOV 2023, on the special occasion of Tihar, Amb. Dr. Parajuli and Mr. Bimal Dhakal welcome a Deusi-Bailo team, from Nepali Diaspora and NRNA Madrid, at the Ambassador’s residence.
  2. On 10 NOV 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli attended the Ifema Inauguration of the 46th Edition of Art.
  3. On 09 NOV 2023, H.E. Sra. Nuker Kucukel Ezberci, Ambassador of Turkey to Spain, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Parajuli at the Embassy.
  4. On 08 NOV 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli attended a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Germany, H.E. Sra. Margarete Gosse, focusing on gender equality and foreign policy. She also spoke about ‘Women in Diplomacy in Nepal’ at the event.
  5. On 07 NOV 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli met with the President of the Fundacion Vicent Ferrer, Ms. Luc Maria Sanz Masefo.
  6. On 30 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli had a meeting with the President of URESAP Unit of Rescue, Mr. Basilio Vigil Paredero.
  7. On 30 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli met Ebae and Sandra, appreciated their work for promoting cultures and languages of Nepal- Spain. Congratulated the team including illustrators involved for their children’s book in both languages.
  8. On 26 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli celebrated the National Day of Austria.
  9. On 23 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli hosted a lunch as a farewell for the Malaysian Ambassador to Spain, and to welcome the Ambassadors of China and Vietnam.
  10. On 23 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli attended the VII International Conference on Women and Diplomacy.
  11. H.E. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to the Kingdom of Spain, met with H.E. Mr. Omar Said Omar Alkathiri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Spain, Discussions on matters of mutual interest were held during the meeting
  12. On 09 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli attended the National Day of Cyprus.
  13. On 09 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Azzam Algain, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Spain.
  14. On 05 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli joined the celebration of the National Day of Korea.
  15. On 03 OCT 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli attended the National Day of Spain, organizer by the Diplomacy Academy.
  16. On 12 SEP 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli celebrated the National Day of Slovakia.
  17. On 04 SEP 2023, Amb. Dr. Parajuli was present at a meeting with the UNWTO Secretary-General.
  18. The Embassy successfully initiated Nepali language classes for children of the Nepali Diaspora, adoptees from Nepal, and other interested individuals. The classes are conducted every Saturday at 15:15 hrs for one hour. These classes commenced on October 7, 2023, and will continue in the upcoming days.
