Her Excellency Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to Spain, and Ms.Renu Dahal, Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City welcomed by
Mr Pau Solanilla, Commissioner for International Relations and City Promotion at Barcelona and Mr Felip Roca, Director of International Relations at Mayor’s Office of Barcelona, with their team at City Hall Palace on 18 March 2024.
Mayor Renu extended an invitation to visit Bharatpur to the Mayor of Barcelona.
The discussion centred on new avenues of collaboration between Bharatpur Metropolitan City and Barcelona City Council, along with the need to develop a sister-city relationship between the two.
Furthermore, discussions were also held on possible collaborations in sports, culture, tourism, and gastronomy, among others.
