Her Excellency Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal inaugurated the Nepal pavilion at FITUR 2023 on 18 JAN 2023. This year Nepal pavilion has around 30 travel agencies participating from Nepal. The delegation is led by the Nepal Tourism Board(NTB) along with the Nepal Association of Tours and Travel Agents (NATTA). Amb. Dr. Parajuli urged everyone at the pavilion to optimize the opportunities provided by FITUR. Furthermore, the Embassy is providing translators at the Pavilion to ease the communication between Spanish and Nepali travel operators.
After inaugurating the pavilion, Amb. Dr. Parajuli, along with other Ambassadors accredited to Spain, attended an inauguration reception hosted by Their Majesties the King Felipe VI and the Queen Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano of the Kingdom of Spain. Later in the day, she attended an Inauguration Cocktail of FITUR at the Centro de Convenciones Norte IFEMA hosted by Mr. Javier Sanchez-Prieto, President of the Organizing Committee of FITUR, and Mr. Jose Vicente de los Mozos, President of the Executive Committee of IFEMA Madrid. At the program, she also met with H.E. Ms. Reyes Maroto, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain.

१८ जनवरी २०२३ का दिन महामहिम डा. शर्मिला पराजुली ढकालज्यूले FITUR 2023 मा रहेको नेपाल प्याभिलियनको उद्घाटन गर्नुभयो।उक्त प्याभिलियनमा नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्ड (एनटीबी) र नेपाल एसोसिएसन अफ टुर्स एण्ड ट्राभल एजेन्ट (नाट्टा) को नेतृत्वमा नेपालबाट करिब ३० वटा ट्राभल एजेन्सीहरूको सहभागिता रहेको छ।
महामहिम राजदूत डा. पराजुलीज्यूले प्याभिलियनमा रहेका सबै पर्यटन व्यवसायीहरुलाई FITUR ले उपलब्ध गराएको अवसरलाई अधिकतम उपयोग गर्न आग्रह गर्नुभयो।
त्यसपश्चात महामहिम राजदूत डा. पराजुलीज्यूले स्पेनका लागि अन्य देशका आवासीय राजदूतहरुसँगै स्पेनका राजा Felipe VI र रानी Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano द्वारा आयोजित FITUR उद्घाटन समारोहमा सहभागी सोही दिन उहाँले Centro de convenciones Norte IFEMA मा FITUR का आयोजक समितिका अध्यक्ष Mr. Javier Sanchez-Prieto र IFEMA म्याड्रिडका कार्यकारी समितिका अध्यक्ष Mr. Jose Vicente de los Mozos द्वारा आयोजित उद्घाटन ककटेलमासमेत सहभागिता जनाउनुभयो। सोही समारोहमा राजदूत डा. पराजुलीज्यूले स्पेनको उद्योग, वाणिज्य तथा पर्यटन मन्त्री H.E. Ms. Reyes Maroto सँग पनि भेट गर्नुभयो। साथै, राजदूतावासले स्पेनीस र नेपाली पर्यटन व्यसायीहरुबीच सहज अन्तर्क्रिया प्रवर्द्धन गर्न प्याभिलियनमा अनुवादकहरूसमेत उपलब्ध गराएको छ।
