The Embassy of Nepal in Madrid supported a program ‘Mantras Del Corazon’ organized by Centro de Retiros budista Arya Tara Madrid at the Unión General de Trabajadoras y Trabajadores on 03 DEC 2022.
The program was graced with the performance of Venerable Ani Choying Drolma and her team from Nepal. The team performed different music and mantras of Buddhism, and also including the famous ‘Phoolko Aankhama’ song.
Venerable Ani requested everyone present at the event to visit Nepal, and explore its natural, cultural, historical places among others. The program ended with the concluding remarks from H.E. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to Spain. H.E. Dr. Parajuli highlighted that the foreign policy of Nepal is guided in coherence with the ‘Principles of Peaceful Coexistence’ also reflected through our policy of ‘amity with all, enmity with none’. H.E. Dr. Parajuli reflected on the presence of around 300 Buddhist centers in Spain, and their contribution in strengthening the people-to-people level relations between Nepal and Spain.
H.E. Dr. Parajuli also thanked Venerable Ani Choying Drolma and her team for their enigmatic performance. The event was attended by around 150 participants including Ambassadors, Diplomats, Nepali Diaspora, Buddhist practitioners in Spain, Press and Spanish people.
